Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool 2024
Brian House Children’s Hospice and Wild in Art are proud to present Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool – the town’s first ever public art trail!
For eight weeks Blackpool will be home to over 60 Elmer sculptures, all uniquely designed by artists from across the UK, as well as local schools and community groups.
Our sculptures will be around central Blackpool until 9th June before coming together in one room for our special Farewell Event. Our large Elmer sculptures will then be auctioned off to raise funds for Brian House, whilst our Young Elmers will be returned to the schools who created them,
From its launch weekend, Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool has already been a huge success. Our free trail app has been downloaded over 5,000 times and trail-goers have clocked up 77, 16847 steps (and counting!)
This is an incredible opportunity for locals and tourists of all ages to get out and about, re-discover Blackpool and celebrate David McKee’s much-loved patchwork elephant.
We hope you have the chance to get involved!
Elmer Sponsors
At the end of the art trail, our large sculptures will be auctioned off to raise vital funds for Brian House Children’s Hospice. If your business or organisation would like to home an Elmer, register your interest in our auction.
