About Brian House
Our purpose-built hospice, which forms part of Trinity Hospice, allows children with incredibly challenging medical needs and conditions to have the chance to live life to the full; to play and have fun as every child should.
Brian House offers respite care whether it’s for a day, a night, a weekend or even longer for local families, as well as group support for the whole family. Our care teams are also there for expert end-of-life care and bereavement support.
Brian House care is provided completely free of charge to every family that needs it, but with running costs of more than £1.4million and little help from the government, we rely on the support and generosity of people and organisations in the community.

How you can support Brian House
Make a one-off donation
If you prefer, you could make a one off donation or, if you are able, make a regular donation that will help us to plan for the future with confidence. Just £5 a month is enough to make a real difference to the families who need us.
Find your nearest shop
You could do something amazing by donating to our charity shops. We have several across the Fylde coast supporting both Brian House and our adult services at Trinity Hospice. While you’re in one of our shops, why not have a browse and grab a bargain?
Leave a gift in your Will
Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest difference, and by leaving a gift in your Will of any size is one of the most generous ways you can support your local children’s hospice. Whatever gift you leave, it will be used to help us continue to provide specialist support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening illness in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
Become a Volunteer Trailmaker
Volunteering is a great way to give something back to the community – it makes you feel good and you will be making a huge difference to visitors’ experience of the trail.
Fundraise for Brian House
Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool is an exciting chance to raise vital funds for Brian House – the only children’s hospice on the Fylde coast. It’s also our biggest opportunity to raise awareness of the hospice and the important work it does to support our area’s most fragile children.
When it comes to fundraising for our charity, the opportunities really are endless, and we’re constantly blown away by the efforts of the amazing people in our community who choose to support Brian House. From personal challenges like marathons and skydives to bake sales and dress down days – we’ve seen it all.

Our Fundraising Team is on hand to help with all your fundraising needs, whether it’s advice on logistics or material like pull up banners and collection buckets for your event.
You could also take part in one of our own events, as we organise some of the biggest mass-participation events on the Fylde coast. If you like running, why not join the Beaverbrooks Blackpool 10k Fun Run or Night Run, see the Fylde coast on two wheels in the Beaverbrooks Bike Ride or have fun and get messy at Bubble Rush and Colour Run.
